This morning I attempted to play The Sims 3 via Steam, and discovered that I don't have .net framework 3.5. When I tried to install it, I just got errors that I couldn't download it, possibly because I didn't have an internet connection. I then tried to connect to Windows Update, and couldn't connect to that either, so then I asked Scott if Intune could be blocking me from installing Windows components, at which point he mentioned that Intune disables Windows Update. I thought Intune was installed and working on my Lenovo Yoga2Pro with Windows 10, but I discovered this morning that it's not actually working. I'm attempting to retire my machine from Intune and start from scratch, so that is in progress. This computer has never actually talked to Intune, but Intune shows as running in the system tray. When I look at installed programs, Intune isn't listed, so I don't know how to get rid of it. I don't know that it will matter that I've retired this machine from the Intune console, since I don't even see it as installed. Anybody successfully retire a machine and uninstall Intune?
