      The article headline also says:
"but the real bad news is a breaking change in legacy driver support"

That expensive audio interface you bought a few years ago? May not run on El Capitan.

So for studios, video production and other areas, this could be a crippling blow to Apple's creative segment.

And you do have a fair bit of choice in the UK for non resellers, we're a minority bunch but we are out there. It's just so much easier to make a margin on desktops, servers, switches, anything really that many businesses set themselves up around that idea as a profit centre.

I blame those people who find themselves in this situation in the first place. They choose a closed, extremely limited ecosystem to do their business in.

You and I as technical people know this but Apple for "Creativity" is the same as going to University for "Careers" - It's become such an embedded thing.

There is a direct correlation between me working there and increased store sales. It wouldn't just pack up and shut down, but it would not do nearly as well as it could.

      To be blunt.

If you were working for me...And you were delivering revenue, yet you were crap talking about my name and my brand online, You'd be fired, no one will tolerate that in any sector.

This is why everyone is getting at you, You cannot keep doing this.

      Surely instead:

Company A ships the server to Company B.

Company B does a health check and confirms it is good.

No one in their right mind commits to installing an untested brand new server on a project. Even if company A do everything, if you schedule a week-end of downtime, they turn up with the never turned on HP server, and it still takes 24 hours to get replacements from HP, then the project is at risk. Especially with a time sensitive migration, with no downtime projects it's less of an issue but even so.

I'm on a huge foodie change at the moment.

The biggest change I've made is, getting up earlier, having a substantial breakfast and I already feel way better have 3 weeks of that, more awake/energetic during the day, more productive.

I'm the opposite. Breakfast makes me tired all day. And hungry too, so much more hungry when I eat breakfast.

My bowl of porridge with a banana keeps me till lunch

      Salad then with chicken/tuna/ham

Dinner in the evening, no more snacking.

Oh and lots and lots of water through the day.

I understand your point in this. I do. But if a company wants to take what I say totally at face value without any context, the job wouldn't work out anyways.

Whether a statement is true or not, the damage is done to that brand and reputation.

So I don't care about why you posted rubbish about my brand, I only care about the fact that by giving you a job, by paying you a salary, I expect you to be loyal and not attack me publicly on the internet.

There is no such thing as "A good public complaint" about ones workplace.

Everyone who has done it, when the employer has found it, has been let go. In any industry.

Personally, if I wanted to share something like that, I would not want someone to get into just based on E_points, what kind of trust is that?

Besides, it creates a culture which is not great. The elite and the not elite. Surely keep it to private chat anyway?

And stores compete, so if we do better and it makes it so someone will come to my store instead of one of the other local stores, that's viewed as a success by the company.

I think the key questions to ask with this are

      A) If this is how the store operates, why does the tech supervisor disagree with you? Why is he alien to the culture?
B.) Does the Manager encourage this behaviour? Has he written this down in the guidelines?
      C) Is Management at the regional level behind this?

I REALLY want them to bring out a Unifi non POE switch.

How can I justify a £300-£400 price increase for a feature they just won't ever use or need?

Yes we have the edgeswitch but then you lose the reporting and central controller concept.

They can afford a lot more than that.

For what I would describe as a head-line band, Really really disappointing that they claim to have lost "months" of work. The stolen equipment should be insured, that should not set them back but...flip.

You discover a situation where a client is paying a "IT Service Provider" for their emails.

You notice that their emails are with office 365.

Your brain immediately says that it is impossible to resell Office 365, so they must be breaking the MS terms somehow.

      What do you do?
