      Do not:

      1. use special characters in any of your passwords - letters & numbers only.
      2. hosted engine vm - assign static IP, no dhcp reservation.

That’s pretty bad security for not allowing special characters, maybe not spaces either?

Tower has that restriction too for a certain password. I think it's the RabbitMQ password. If it's long enough I don't see it making much difference.

Maybe, but again not sure the reasoning why the no special character especially if it is used in other languages.

This we hear a lot. Bad communications, unable to speak English, lots of passing the buck and run around, and then delay after delay presumably to push you to find an alternative to them actually doing something.

It's gone way downhill in the past year. Even our channel reps have been pretty shocked. The lack of English has been an issue for some time (obviously not the only company outsourcing though).

Offshoring. It is extremely unlikely that they are outsourcing. Outsourcing means going to another company. Offshoring is what sends stuff to India.

They might be doing both. Or neither, a lot of Indian call centers are in New Jersey.

Lol, my kinda of town 😉

Where is your profile tab under Printer Properties?
This tab allows you to set options for Default profile options and other profiles, perhaps someone changed default profile to double sided.

      No obvious tab...

Select the Advanced Tab and the. Select printer defaults . There you can change the settings.

Nice try Fry's, but no that is NOT a DVI port!

      0_1536072271786_Screenshot from 2018-09-04 09-44-02.png

There are two DVI names there lol
Also SATA is not even close!!
And there is a mist of USB 2.0 and 3.0 lol!

The resolution of the picture makes it hard to tell about the 'SATA' port... On my screen, it first looks like a Display port. But the longer I look at it, the more I think it's an eSATA port, but I don't recognize the little icon over it.

It might be but an eSata looks like these

What about on the printer tray Option (on the printer itself)?

Can't see it, it's in Denver.

I mean, I do it all the time by going to the web interface of the printer.

I am pretty sure on Exchange 2010, if you don't use IE11, you will be restricted to the lite version of OWA. You should verify that first.

No, in Linux OWA doesn’t work in normal mode with Chrome but in Firefox it works well. OWA on Chrome, Firefox and Safari in Windows and Mac OSX with Exchange 2010 works well.

I responded to you on another forum but basically I said was Sync bookmarks through Firefox and Chrome Sync with their accounts. For signatures copy it from a sent message.

Relying on users to log in is too much manual. Needs to be fully automated where possible.

Are you the one that creates their signatures in the first place? If not, they can copy and paste that from a sent message in a few seconds. It is way easier than creating a signature from scratch.

Edit: Also, how often do you have a system fail this bad, where copying and pasting a signature is TMW?

Unless they have multipe RDS servers 😉

@dave247 said in Anyone running Exchange 2016 on Server 2016?:

I just purchased MS Exchange 2016 for my company as we are upgrading from 2010. Up until recently, only Server 2012 R2 was supported for running Exchange 2016 on but now I see 2016 is supported. Despite reading some MS tech articles, guides and requirement docs, I'm still not quite sure how well it works on 2016.. just being a bit cautious I guess.

I just wanted to see if anyone here is running Exchage 2016 on Server 2016 and if you have any issues or anything. I don't mind installing it on 2012 R2 if I have to, but I'd really rather deploy to Server 2016 if I can.

So far no issues here, has been running 3 months now.

@wrx7m said in Google DNS Issues and Super Slow Office 365 Portal- Anyone Else?:

Yesterday and today I have had super slow loading on the Office 365 admin portal. Today, I have seen Outlook throw a security cert warning, twice, and some websites are also showing SSL error pages.

I have Google DNS setup as some forwarders and use their IPs as a gauge for WAN connectivity, as it is easy to remember their IPs. I started a ping -t to 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4 and 4.2.2.2 and normally, I will get a 4ms average on all 3. Today, I am getting 23-25 on 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 with several request timed outs sprinkled in (at the same time as one another). 4.2.2.2 is very stable and averaging 4ms.

I can't seem to find much info on down detector. It seems that there are some external network issues, somewhere. I will be calling my ISP, but wanted to see if anyone else was having issues also.

Edit: I am in Southern California

Have you tried to use 1.1.1.1 from CloudFlare?
