Have you tried refreshing the page? FWIW, I reimaged my Dev1 box earlier today and it did take 5-10mins for it to reimage.

Nothing has changed... nothing. Not even a restart. No GIT pulls. No reloads. No nothing. Haven't even been on the server. What the heck could have changed?

Added "copytruncate" to the F2B logrotate configuration file and then ran a manual log rotation. Seemed to work ok (system is still logging to fail2ban.log), but I will continue to monitor.

@scottalanmiller Not seeing any issues here with gmail. Also, you can filter incoming emails. Look under Setting > Filters, and use the option to Skip the Inbox (Archive it).
