It's Friday... How happy it is directly relates to what kind of disasters you are facing today.

looking at this thread, I would say that a Scale 1150 cluster would fit the bill nicely, and even with a single node for second site dr, he would still likely be under $35k all-in
That's what I was imagining. Might need slightly more than the baseline RAM, but even that might be enough with 2x 64GB nodes.
If they're not doing HA and all of that... why not get one beefier node rather than two smaller ones?

possibly. Every year some idiots shoot each other, or themselves or some ones house. The average person that gun hunts is usually not so smart (and then they add cheap beer into the mix). Now I do know some really serious hunters and I have no issue with hunting in general just most of the idiots that do it. Heck I used to hunt (been years now) but as a principle, go for it.There's a tragically high number of people killed by their dog every year during hunting season. Leave their loaded rifle on the back seat with the pup, stop the truck, open the door, dog gets excited and steps on the trigger...
Darwin awards aplenty, that's for sure. Rifles should not be loaded except when in use.

You are obviously not watching football. They have the best record in the league right now.
Meh, I'm a Giants fan, and Broncos (I was a fan of them before Peyton). So I have to rag on them.
Go sportsball!
Sportsball, sportsball, our team is best in points!
We sportsed harder than the other team this time. They sportsed good to, but we were better.

Seems like I remember somebody saying it was the total count of ads blocked overall, not just per visit.

I do stuff with family on the 24th/25th, eating, gifts, etc., then xmas day evening begins "friendsmas", where the whole crew gathers at my neighbor's house for heavy boozing and usually a bonfire. There is always great food and loud music, and it's the best way to decompress after the family stuff.
That sounds like my family minus the boozing. So much fun!

@Dashrender This doesn't help the OP, but it can definitely be done with SAMBA on Linux.
We do that here, and have to muck around with the department permissions and such from time-to-time.
I'd love to see a screen shot of how that looks at the share or folder level.
In the /etc/samba/smb.conf file, in our global section, we have
create mask = 0660 directory mask = 0770Adjust permissions accordingly.
For what he wants, it'd likely be something like
create mask = 0650 directory mask = 0770At the share level.
Edit: @Dashrender reminded me of one additional command that is needed to grant the groups appropriate access to groups for a folder.
The
setfaclcommand.@Dashrender mentioned to me offline that It'd be a good idea to get feedback on that command setup.
That is what we are doing here as best I can tell. My account doesn't have privileges to get at the File system ACLs.

The ThinkPads generally have Ethernet, great reliability, great keyboard (+ clit mouse) and external battery (love that!).
The Thinkpads are Lenovo now right? General consensus around here is to avoid Lenovo.
