I'm thinking they should work. If I remember right with 2003 Server, the dell discs didn't have the VL install key on them. You had to put in the OEM sticker key in when you installed it.

So, its 6 days shy of 2 months and this is finally complete... they tried their best, but couldn't find anywhere I was short on licenses. What a complete and utter waste of time.

@Minion-Queen The rolls are good, but I like the Shiner Bock Bread at Saltgrass Steakhouse better! 😋

Celebrating our anniversary with dinner from Pizza Hut and an early bed time so that I can drive down @coliver's way tomorrow to work at a client site.

So fancy you guys are 🙂

Well we did go out for Dinner at Texas Road house last night, mmm bbq ribs (not the greatest but the restaurant wasn't too busy).

I always get their grilled salmon, its pretty good. Granted I live in west Texas where we have very few options for seafood.

    • RE: Virtualization Build - Punch holes in this build please

What kind of work loads are you going to be run on this? Do you need 24-Cores of processing? I just ask because if you are running Windows on the server that may make licensing expensive since they are going to license per core now. Just a thought.

That's super cool Jared! nice find.

Of course if this is HIPAA information you probably can't use this solution, but still nice to have in the back pocket.

Do not get me (or @scottalanmiller usually) started on faxing and HIPAA....

      A fax is secure, isn't it? 😉

I tried Fusion on my MacBook Pro back when I bought it. I did not like it and bought Parallels instead.

I had both and went back and forth on which one I liked all the time.

My favourite linux command is "ls"
      "cd"

I use those quite a bit also.

I use them all the time, doesn't mean I like them. At least ls is shorter than dir.

I always end up typing dir on my linux machines and ls on my windows machines.... it just frustrates me...
