I had the same issue. It's very frustrating to say the least.
Setting up an Nginx proxy thanks to @JaredBusch and @Tim_G for my nextcloud installs. Just have to figure out the SSL certs now.

ERL is my go-to. I have many of them deployed. Don't need the switch ports that are available on the ERX.
@black3dynamite I did do that and it reflects it when I status the folder. I gave it rwx across the board. @travisdh1 I think the selinux could be the issue. I was going to disable it and see if there was a change, but ran out of time. I plan on looking at it today again.
I need to set up an SFTP server for transferring some small files (daily) between two entities. I have convinced the C- Levels to let me host it on Vultr versus in-house, even though we have the necessary infrastructure. I wish they would choose another method than SFTP but I cannot change that.
I'm thinking Fedora Server with FileZilla but am open to other ideas. I haven't set up an FTP server in a while so I'm here for some guidance and advice.
A guy I used to work with used to call < and > "chicken lips right" and "chicken lips left". It was used in the terminal on Ericcson AXE Telco switches for the commands. Always gave me a chuckle.
@dbeato Not using FileZilla. I forgot they already know how to use WinSCP and I get no complaints from the users.
@travisdh1 That is exactly what I did using Cockpit to create the mount. Verified it in fstab.

I witnessed a person put RDP open to the internet on a new server and used Admin* as the password. Server was hit with ransomware in less than 2 days. Needless to say, they had to start over.

Honestly, I've not used KVM but thought this would be a great learning exercise. Been using Hyper-V for years. I prefer it over VMWare and Xen.
I tested Untangle Home a few years ago. Didn't care for it. Seemed bloated with junk.
I was reading on the voip.ms wiki and thought the way you all are describing is the way it should have been done. I just was unsure on how to implement. I will make the changes.
It feels weird using PS to ssh into a Fedora VM.
