If you're not going to be paying for support from Citrix, I highly recommend using XCP-ng instead.

Are you saying that the install of Citrix Hypervisor failed? Your question is very hard to understand.

RE: Extra Life 2019 - Partners + Napier
This would be a great excuse to trick my wife into letting me play games for 24 hours straight on a weekend
Seriously though, GL HF

@bnrstnr could you please let us know the AMD graphic card model?
AMD FirePro W4170M

RE: Windows 10 Upgrade stops at 31% (or any %)
I recently had problems with some Dells that have AMD graphics cards. I had to uninstall the video drivers to get it to go through. Ours were stopping at 48%.

RE: MailCow in Production Datacenter
Was there a consensus on the "best" distro to use for MailCow? @scottalanmiller what are you running it on?

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
My laptop basically self destructed when I managed to finally get Windows 10 1903 to install. After recovering all of my stuff, I'm now debating whether I should wait until 1910 (or whatever it's going to be called) to be released, or reinstall a fresh 1903 and see where I can get. I'm thinking I'm going to have problems either way.
I was having massive driver issues with an AMD FirePro W4170M. My laptop is from 2014 and the amount of time I've spent on it this week alone would have covered the cost of new hardware, but unfortunately my boss doesn't see it that way.

Windows Server 2016
Why 2016? You'd want to get 2019 and if you really had a requirement, you'd install 2016.
This is what I was told to order by My micro manager
Good luck, you can't even buy CALs for Server 2016... Only the current version. (of course they are backwards compatible)
That's what I was getting at. . you can't purchase old, you get downgrade rights for sure, but they don't sell old stuff
This would be a fun opportunity for a "you know, I just can't seem to find a way to buy these Server 2016 CALs, what shall I do, sir micro manager?!"

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
Upgraded my home computer a little this weekend. Amazing difference. I went from an i5-2500K, to a Ryzen 5 3600. I kept my old GTX 570 for now and the difference in gaming is still VERY noticeable. New mobo, proc, and 16GB ram was like $368.

Cold brew coffee recipe:
In a 1 gallon glass carboy (or other beverage conveyance) combine 12 oz of coarsely ground coffee beans (medium roast or lighter) with 1 gallon spring water. Park it in the fridge and wait at least 5 days, 7 or more is best. Shake gently every day or so. Strain into glass containers through 3-5 layers of cheesecloth or muslin. Keep refrigerated, add milk and sugar (simple syrup) as desired. Hold on to your ass, because this stuff is like rocket fuel.
I can't believe someone actually went through all the post of the year and found it..
Good job man.The search bar is the real champion here, it took me like 45 seconds to find it.

RE: What Are You Doing Right Now
@RojoLoco How long does this gallon usually last you? How long would guess that it stays good in the fridge?

I've been stuck for a couple weeks, too. I went away on 7 day vacation a few weeks ago and just haven't been able to get back in the working out groove. I've been maintaining my diet, though, so that's good. Still want to get down to 200 lbs.
Good job - does you wife hate you like mine hates me? 40 lbs in 3 months...
Thanks. Yeah, she totally hates me. She has lost about 15 pounds, though, so she's doing good too.
She really hates it when we both do basically the same run on the treadmill and it says I burn twice as many calories lol Well, I do weigh twice as much as you... sooooo

Bars similar to this have been appearing in emails from several of our vendors. Shouldn't we always be using proper judgement when doing those things? Not just when it's from an external source :man_facepalming:

I only use WebEx when vendors or someone else invites us to a meeting - so with that in mind - I hate WebEx because of the shit add-on they basically force on you... I really wish instead they would primarily push the one time use module that they have available.
My favourite feature of WebEx is that they flat out don't support any OS that we run. So when vendors send us WebEx we just say "that's a pure dial in for us, no way around it." It's that simple.
Have you tried a MS Teams meeting on a Linux based OS? I don't think it's a huge deal for us. Most CAD shops that we deal with are also Windows shops.

I'm also wondering if you're breaking the licensing of WebEx by having that one guy make meetings for other people when he himself is not attending? only a thought, I don't know the licensing requirements of WebEx.
It doesn't sound like what we do is against the rules. He doesn't share the credentials, he hosts (schedules) the meeting and then just doesn't attend.

Probably. :see-no-evil_monkey: I haven't looked into it either.
It's only a couple times a year. Almost everybody has some kind of meeting software, our other users normally just tell the other parties to set it up.
