I have two Linux Mint system running; One physical, One VM in Oracle Box.

The physical box is running LM 17.2 and I mainly use it to run Pithos for Pandora. The other is a VM running LM 17.3, and just updated.

The 'Issue' is that in 17.3 does not see the ReadyNAS shares (NFS, SMB). LM 17.2 does and there isn't any issues. I can still get to them using FILE/Connect to Server and plugging in the NAS IP Address.

What could I be missing here?

        What does ping say?

FYI: I couldn't use a gui to do anything if I wanted to anymore. All my questions are gonna put you in a shell.

Ping sees the NAS just from from both systems (17.2 and 17.3)

I also went back to my USB LM 17.1 and was able to see the shares with no issues.

Possibly it is a package or package-addon that was not included in the default install of Mint 17.3
You might have to check the differences between them out on distrowatch or something like that.
Or open Synaptic on both desktops and compare installed packages from there. or do something with apt-get from the cli and output all installed packages to a csv for each machine, then compare them.

That's my guess, that a package is missing.
