Corel Draw x8: Performance and other issues
-
Have a system that is running into some interesting issues trying to work with Corel Draw x8. Issues include:
- load times of a 2,830KB file
- refresh lag on zoom
- inability to export to PDF (when I have corel open it says it is open in another application, when I have it closed it says the file was corrupted or damaged.)
- inability to close Corel, forcing EndTask or restarting the computer.
Corel Draw System Requirements: * Microsoft Windows 10, Windows 8.1 or Windows 7, in 32-bit or 64-bit, all with latest Updates and Service Pack * Intel Core i3/5/7 or AMD Athlon 64 * 2 GB RAM * 1 GB hard disk space * Multi-touch screen, mouse or tablet * 1280 x 720 screen resolution at 100% (96 dpi) * Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 or higher * Microsoft .Net Framework 4.6 * DVD drive (required for box installation) * Internet connection required to sign in to authenticate CorelDRAW Graphics Suite, receive performance and stability updates, access online content, and use some features, such as QR Codes or the Content Exchange. You can use CorelDRAW Graphics Suite offline provided you connect to the Internet at least once a month so that we can validate your software license
System Configuration:
* Windodws 7 Pro 64Bit * Intel i7 CPU * 8GB Ram * 500GB hard drive, 398 free * Dual Screens * Mouse pointer with scroll wheel * All current MS updates
What could I be missing with the application as he doesn't seem to have any issues with Corel Draw x5.

Just downloaded.
That said, It did do an update prior to my uninstalling it and cleaning the system up and re-installing it.
