images not displaying, only seeing links

Dashrender is using a classic forum formatting.
It was extremely common for a very long time. I even tried it with the same formatting when uploading images wasn't working with the drag and drop functionality.

Yeah, may be old, but several forums I use still use it.
to show a picture inline that is already hosted somewhere
[img]name and location of image[/img]
I can't believe you've never see that before.
and here's the corrected slashes
[img]http://test.com/test.jpg[/img]
I just to used to windows.
interesting it put
( )around the URL, but I didn't type that.

Where should I have seen it?

That's really dependent of what forums you've used.

BBCode has an brief description of it.

SW?

I'm not even sure if SW uses that formatting or another to be perfectly honest.... I've never paid enough attention to it...

that's funny - in forums related to Star Wars is where I have spent much of my time in the past, and that's where I used it.
vBulletin uses it for my local Star Wars group (www.centralgarrison.org)
phpBB is the other major place I've used it. -

Just fell back to 0.2.1 and things are working again. Another bad plugin update. So unreliable. This is the problem with keeping functionality in plugins.
Plugin author here. I've tested this on nbb 0.9.2, both installing from scratch and upgrading, and it works fine. Ironically, the biggest changes to the plugin were adding a test suite. What problems did you guys have? anything in the error logs?

What happened here was that the links simply stopped rendering. Nothing weird, it was just as if the plugin was not there at all.

There should have at least been some error, did you try a restart of the community? What version are you on?

NodeBB 0.9.3
It was reloaded more than once. Not restarted completely.
