Am I just supposed to contact him to ask him to get me into the program? Just kind of confused...

Hey, you met J.D. I seem to have too much insight into the education world.
Ok, so how exactly am I supposed to get an audience? You don't typically just walk into the Dean's office...
Why not? I walked into the president's office at CVC and didn't even know who it was.
Or would you like to hear the story about how I stood up in a new hire meeting with the DCCCD board and one of the founders Bill J. Priest and said "Hi, I'm PSX, and I'm an alcoholic. Woops, wrong room!"

You are something else. So just basically talk to him about my desire to get into the program, etc?

Probably not the best idea. Wait until after enrollment. It's a pretty open campus, odds are you will be accepted.
-
@PSX_Defector So what would be my reason for contacting him?

Just in case you need some advisement. Or if you happen to see him around campus.
-
@PSX_Defector I have a few questions I would like to ask...ok, thanks! Btw, dropping your name isn't going to get me led away in handcuffs and interrogated about your whereabouts, right? O.0

Ithaca, Hudson, Rochester. This explains why I've never seen one of their campuses...
They have a campus in Syracuse too. Almost every city in NY has a campus. Empire is one if the flagship schools of SUNY.
They have a presence on campus at OCC too!!
-
SUNY Empire Syracuse is on Rt 298 in East Syracuse.
-
@scottalanmiller There isn't much reason to go to East Syracuse. It's pretty much a ghost town. The job I was working when I signed on at NTG originally was in East Syracuse right off Carrier Circle. It's dead over there. It's mostly slums...
-
@scottalanmiller Also, a presence is not the same. I never saw them there.
-
A campus is a campus.

Congrats A.J.

So, as of today, as far as I can tell, I'm in at UT Dallas! I got information on how to get my online account with them setup! WOOHOO!

Congrats. What class(es) are up first?
-
@scottalanmiller I'm not sure as of right now. Advisement is on May 22nd.
-
Cool. How long since your last classes?

My husband and I have been back at school for just over 9 months, now. We're getting our degrees in IT, but I am heavily considering project management, to be more flexible, in case IT "just isn't what it used to be". We are in our project management cluster now (the adjunct professor is a freakin' rockstar in PM), so I'll know in a month or two if I'm cut out for this stuff.
Congrats on school - I sort of "fell into" IT, but if I had to do it over again, I'd probably be a musician, zookeeper, or humanitarian aid worker.
