@scottalanmiller how do i switch on
next-release
from the installer script?git checkout next-release
-
@DustinB3403
how?
i use this for the installation
curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/scottalanmiller/xenorchestra_installer/master/xo_install.sh | bash
-
@xogurunoob you install Xen orchestra using the script, and then you can change your xo-server version by running the above from the /opt/xo-server and /opt/xo-web
-
@DustinB3403
and then do what next? re-run the script again? or restart server? -
@xogurunoob The details can be found in this post from the XO site.
Another option is this script, which was written by Dustin.
-
@Danp
so after git checkout , i should ran that script? -
@xogurunoob Yes. After you switch to the desired branch using
git checkout
and then run the update script. -
@Danp
the update script does not complete
it hangs at the last line below> [email protected] build /opt/xo-web > gulp distclean && gulp build --production (node:935) fs: re-evaluating native module sources is not supported. It would have been nice if you has posted the complete console output
-
What happens when you reboot?
-
-
Updated version v4.16.0
This doesn't make sense. It should be showing 4.16.1.

Doing so would have shown us the repo settings for both xo-web and xo-server. As is, we have no idea if you have switched to the correct repo.

Ok.... is it working now. If not, what's the output when you try to run xo-server?

if looks like an unfinished installation, when you go to the ip in browser, it shows like a mobile version and doesn't show certain things like css is missing or something and not completely installed.
output of what command? and from what wording directory should i run the command?
-

@xogurunoob Yes, that is how you would switch to their development branch and check out the new interface. It's been a while since I tried it myself, so please report back and let us know how it goes...
