Here is a tip I wrote myself a note about.
Thought it was a good reason to add a new thread - collect windows tips here.

When your window disappears is to make it active by clicking the entry on the taskbar, hitting Alt+Space, then M, then an arrow key. This attaches the window to your cursor, and you can move it back.

Learn to navigate Windows via keyboard shortcuts. This not only cuts down on time it takes to get places but also

        • makes you start menu/screen independent
        • cuts down on the amount of surface area that you have to touch on the keyboard and mouse. Especially useful when the keyboard looks like a biological research station.

I love the keyboard shortcuts. Very useful, specially if you're working on Ms office and Excel.

I have used Keyboard shortcuts for years. I can't isolate a specific task, but there are times that I have one hand on the keyboard and the other on the mouse.

When I was teaching computer and Office basics and short-cut keys was one of the things I would cover. Some of them can be such a time saver.
