Monthly Performance Table

And we passed the August "views per month" record an hour ago with more than a full 24 hour period left in October. Even if this was a short thirty day month this would have managed to have been our busiest month in views ever! Can't wait to get to post the final numbers this weekend.

What's the format of the numbers? XXX:XXX

VIEWS:POSTS

I'm no significant contributor to the numbers. My posting is as it has always been so relatively it's a non-factor month to month even in the post counts and the views can't be affected by individuals, they are huge numbers.

Especially since October looks to be a huge month!
Is that 800k views and 11k posts?

Sure is. We actually bounced off of 12K posts partway through the month. The views number is generated on a calendar month whereas the posts are on a rolling 30 days. So we have to grab the post count "right at the end of the month" or it will vary slightly. So this is a record for a calendar month but not a record for a floating 30 day period, but very close to that as well.

This is a pretty huge milemarker that we hit this morning...
-
So far, it is the 11th of the month and we are already the 4th busiest total month of all time! We are way past March at this point!
-
Just posted the November numbers.
-
Finally added the December and January numbers.
-
Just posted March, another record month (just barely.) Awesome to see the 2+ million mark holding. And that's with the downtime from the migration as well!
-
May numbers are here. They are down, in raw numbers, as expected as we have offloading caching to CloudFlare so we are not getting the direct traffic like we used to; so it is expected that there would be a small drop off caused by that.
-
Forgot to post the June views. Glad that I checked. July is already the third most "viewed" month ever and there are days to go yet. We are over the 2m mark and climbing. Should hit 2.1m within the hour.
-
We just blew past our all time busiest month record!

@scottalanmiller For views and posts or just views?
