but there are some people still working with ISA
Yeah, but that doesn't mean the product isn't Dead/EOL. There are likely still people on windows 2000.
ISA was the new name for MS Proxy server. I used to run that and am actually certified on MS Proxy Server 2.
You too? so we are the two people who were lol
-
Yeah, that was one RARE certification. I ran one at home for years, awesome product.

We used Proxy Server 2 to do proactive Internet caching around 1999 over a crashed AltaVista 33K dialup connection back in Greece, NY. It was @AndyW, our buddy Josh and I with an apartment up there. We had that machine run around the clock, always on the dialup pulling down everything that it could 24x7 so that we were nearly always looking at local disk speeds over hub-based 10Mb/s Ethernet in the house. It worked amazingly well. No one had Internet as good as ours back then.

I thought you said it was fine two days ago. Sometimes using Fiddler can help you find out what's going on with traffic to a proxy server (though I usually use it for blocked stuff) I'm not sure if it will give you any clues in this case or not: http://www.telerik.com/fiddler
