It has to be pretty different because it emulated the mouse and keyboard controllers, not just a keyboard. The haptic feedback is really impressive.
I think I'd really grow to love it for FPS games. One of the reasons I hardly play them is because my desk space is cramped and not at all adequate for competitive FPS. Using a regular controller just ends up getting me getting destroyed so it's not even fun at that point.
It's still not a full mouse, but it can be pretty good. We use it for a lot of adventure games that can't be played any other way.

I broke down and bought PUBG... It's not even on sale. I hopped into a friends discord channel and it sounded like they were having way too much fun so I finally pulled the trigger.

No, you need a FireTV controller for that. But I have one and it isn't worth it. Get an NVidia Shield instead.
