@dafyre Sorry, I was jumping in and out of playing, and migrating a dc from hyper-v to XenServer etc.
it's been a busy week.
A buddy of mine (who also plays warframe) was giving me crap for not also playing Minecraft with him at the same time lol....
Can't win.
I'd get minecraft... but I just can't see paying $30 bucks for it.
-
@dafyre I get it, the plain (unmodded AKA vanilla) version just sucks.
The more fun versions of it include a bunch of rather fun things.

Are those (free) mods for it or what?
I've seen some funny videos... my kid loves the Minecraft videos on youtube by stampy something or another... lol.

Yes, the mods are pretty crazy with how complex they are. The new version of Minecraft finally added a new handler and mods for 1.10 are starting to do some amazing things.

The kids in the house all played Minecraft: Story Mode episode one, today. My daughter ended up playing through it THREE TIMES!

My wife and her sister did a long day of Pokemon Go. Which does not include walking, like I keep hearing about but not seeing. What they do is go to a local driving park that is loaded with Pokemon and drive slowly around it for hours, so they get out and walk even less than if they were watching TV at home. The park is full of people driving slowly around with the AC blasting in their cars going from PokeStop to PokeStop hatching eggs from the slow movement of the cars.

I could get into Pokemon Go, if I wanted to be outside, but humans have spent so many hundreds of years perfecting the insides of homes, why would I want to go out?

I see kids, and a few adults, walking around our small town with their heads firmly in the Pokemon Go app. We have two gyms and a pokestop... which is funny because it's such a small town.

I was in downtown Wooster, OH over the weekend. A whole bunch of people were gathered around the town square, and all took off running at the same time.... natural reaction is to start running as well, right? They were after a super rare pokemon

People "stampeding", as the media put it, to central park to find a super rare pokemon.

Just bought Voodoo Garden

Got my gaming PC back up and running last night. Need to do some more testing to see how stable it actually is but hopefully it will work out.
Probably won't do SLI/Crossfire in my next build.

Yeah, that's generally more of a pain than it's worth, unless you're using two or more top end cards.

I bought these cards when they first came out and their was a bug in the firmware release that allowed the 6950s to become 6970s. So I bought two of the 6950s for less then the price of the 6970. With the firmware hack I basically got two 6970's.

Playing Warframe, thanks to @DustinB3403 ... NOT.
Just think of a shooter with some crazy ninja style movement and a Diablo-like "just one more drop" feeling. A bit like a mix from MDK, Quake / UT, maybe Mass Effect and Diablo. And it's actually F2P without P2W: You are even allowed to trade endgame items against "premium" currency.

Been watching a friend play No Man's Sky over the weekend. In reality... it looked pretty boring.

No, there is no role playing. So nothing like Skyrim. More like Minecraft without the building.
