@valentina said in What Are You Currently Reading Outside of Tech: I'm currently reading Animal Farm by George Orwell. Has anyone of you read it?Please feel free to recommend new books! That's a classic. Lots of us had to read it in school. Pretty common to be in a reading list.

@Donahue said in What Are You Currently Reading Outside of Tech: I thought the first one was great, but that the other books sort of got away from it too much. maybe I should try and given them another try in a few years as I get through my queue You have to read the Trilogy to even complete the story. The first book doesn't really stand on its own.

I'm hoping to fit a reread of the Stormlight Archive in over Christmas along with Sanderson's Skyward (going to have to fight for time with that one with my 14 year old).

I just started book 2. Book 4 is due out this coming year along with the last Wax and Wayne near in time.

Knowing that Stormlight Archive is only 4 of 10 kind of put things into perspective. Sanderson probably has a large group of people hoping for his continued health and well being.

Sanderson's Stormlight Archive, I'll have to check it out. I read the Mistborn series before I started this. I had a bit of a stutter getting into this after Wax and Wayne. I started getting into it about half way through the 1st book.
I wish he would extend Wax and Wayne further -- beyond 4 total books. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Working on fixing that fallacy of myself. Not being much of a reader doesn't help with that either.

Took me a long time to fix that behaviour in myself with video games.
