Ubiquity release firmware 1.7.0 for the EdgeMax routers today
-
I personally test out this version in beta/rc because the updates made LTE connections (notably the MTU detection and the MSS clamping changes) more stable and I was in the middle of deploying a remote site via LTE router.
I would call this a solid update with some good improvements.

Here is the CLI syntax to upgrade your router.
add system image http://dl.ubnt.com/firmwares/edgemax/v1.7.0/ER-e100.v1.7.0.4783374.tar

Recommend a restart post update.
-
Traffic Analysis is now available! Nice

I just upgraded to 1.7, but I don't see the Traffic Analysis tab, what am I missing?

I did not see it until I restarted the router.

Just rebooted 2 more times, no luck. It's a ER-X if that makes any difference.

That could be the difference. I have the EdgeMax Router Lite.

You always have to restart before the update is actually applied. You are running in the current firmware in memory until the restart.

You have to have offload enabled. A number of things disable the offloading of some packets. Including certain QoS.
