ArduBoy Looks to Bring Back Retro 8bit Gaming

The 8bit Gamboy-styled Arduboy is a throwback to handheld gaming of the 1980s but is brand new, just $39 and designed to encourage a new spate of classic game design.

Now that is pretty awesome. I could totally see myself getting on of those. I hope that someone gets an emulator working so that they can bring over tons of classic titles and not just the ones originally made for it.
I suspect that a lot of classic recreations are intended.

Probably lacks the power to run something like a GameBoy or NES emulator. That would be awesome, though. Would be nice to see the original Zelda and Dragon Quest series games come over.

I don't see kids liking this thing. This will be mainly for those who played them when 8 bit games were originally out.
