The United States won the Women's World Cup
The United States won the Women's World Cup for a record fourth time as they eventually overpowered the Netherlands in Lyon.
Megan Rapinoe's penalty and Rose Lavelle's fine run and finish gave the defending champions victory in the second half, after resilient first-half defending from the Dutch. We heard about that pretty quickly here in Spain.

My guess is, Netflix isnt worried about Disney. Disney has a 100 year track record of having zero understanding of technology and zero ability to execute on technology. This is the company that used go.com instead of disney.com, remember? This is the company that gave tours of their "state of the art 1970s mainframe" in the 1990s, not realizing it was a huge joke and that no other company was running tech like that (seriously, Sperry Rand mainframes in the era of the Pentium.) It would be like a company running DOS 1 today, and giving tours about how high tech they are, not even being aware of things like Windows, Macs or smart phones.
This is the same company that said "customers don't want Internet in resorts." And when they finally gave in and allowed Internet said "they need Internet, but not wireless."
Disney+ has little possibility of even functioning. Sure, the people at the helm have changed, but this is a company that has maintained this tech adversity problem through generation after generation of management. When people pay for DIsney movies and the quality sucks or they aren't available or the service keeps crashing, they are going to prefer Netflix' lesser known content to Disney famous, but unavailable content.

Or people will simply buy the movies and not worry about the renting version. They can buy on Walmart's Vudu streaming service, at least for now. I suppose the question is - Will Disney stop allowing people to buy movies from Vudu once their subscription service goes live?

If they do, I'll just buy the DVDs and put them on my Plex server.

If they quit offering physical media and their streaming is crap, well, I got other things I can spend my money on.

That's already my position. I generally avoid movies made by Disney. I would love if their stuff didn't just disappear from Netflix, but just disappeared I'm not saying that they've never made something good, just that I'd be fine giving it all up, forever.

Maybe we should be stockpiling their DVDs so that if they do stop selling them, we can sell them on ebay as collectors items, lol.

And control the world supply, so we can hold them back to up the price! Just like disney has always done.

I'm excited to never have to see another Disney movie "in the way" on Netflix! THis will literally make Netflix better for me!

I wonder if that is true. Or maybe Disney fans are the minority, but so vocal and it is not socially acceptable to not like it, so we think everyone does, but in reality, perhaps a lot of people don't. The problem is, Disney fans are insanely vocal, and generally easily offended. So it's a lot of social pressure that if you don't like Disney franchises that you are expected to not mention it. Much like not liking franchise sports. Loads of people think that they are silly, but there is a huge social pressure to not point out the logical flaws in the games.

Disney is only around because of smart business acquisitions. If they hadn't bought the competition out, they'd be a faded memory now.

I'm sure there's some truth to that. Though I really doubt they would be only a faded memory.

I saw I hate football all the time - and so do many other people I know. While I do agree the social pressure is/was there, but it's definitely lessening on a great many things.
