Frankly from a single shooter, this seems more reasonable. But damn!
OK I've read the article now - holy cow. A room full of weapons in a sniper like position. No wonder it was so bad.

Even for the police? I suppose.
Yes, the police would need to coordinate with internal security, get through long, difficult lobbies, find the right elevators, get to the right floor, get access to the room, etc.

Apparently that initial report was wrong. Now they're stating that Tom Petty is clinging to life.

Apparently that initial report was wrong. Now they're stating that Tom Petty is clinging to life.
Rumour is that he is off life support and not expected to make it long. Apparenlty the PD released a false statement earlier.
