Syracuse University: Police Order Shelter in Place as Area Is Investigated Near Campus
A large police presence has gathered around Hope Avenue, reports say. The university issued an "orange alert," signaling students, faculty and nearby residents to stay indoors.

UPDATE: Syracuse Police are investigating the area around the SU campus after two people were reportedly shot. Residents are being told to remain inside and avoid Oakwood Cemetery. We will have information from police as soon as it becomes available.

William P. Hobby Airport: Houston Airport Opens International Terminal
The first flight out of the new terminal was to Cancun, Mexico, reports say. The expansion was funded by Southwest Airlines and features a 280,000 square-foot terminal with five gates.
