How are more than half of Americans at risk...

Have you already looked at https://data.covid.umd.edu/ where the study is based on?

How could they not be? Almost no one has the ability to really completely stay in.

Even those that do are still likely getting deliveries - so they could be infected by brought in goods.

Climate change: US megadrought 'already under way'

A drought, equal to the worst to have hit the western US in recorded history, is already under way, say scientists.
Researchers say the megadrought is a naturally occurring event that started in the year 2000 and is still ongoing. Climate change, though, is having a major impact with rising temperatures making the drought more severe. Some researchers are more cautious, saying that it is too early to say if the region really is seeing a true megadrought. According to the authors of this new paper, a megadrought in North America refers to a multi-decade event, that contains periods of very high severity that last longer than anything observed during the 19th or 20th centuries.

Nasa to launch first manned mission from US in decade

Nasa has announced that next month it will launch its first manned mission from US soil in almost 10 years.
The rocket and the spacecraft it is carrying are due to take off from Florida’s Kennedy Space Centre on 27 May, taking two astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). Both the rocket and spacecraft were developed by private company SpaceX. Nasa has been using Russian rockets for manned flights since its space shuttle was retired in 2011. If successful, SpaceX – headed by billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk - will become the first private firm to send Nasa astronauts into space. The Falcon Nine rocket and Crew Dragon spacecraft will take off from the space centre’s historic Pad 39A, the same one used for the Apollo and shuttle missions.

Rush for haircuts in Denmark as lockdown eases

Danes can now get a haircut at a salon for the first time in a month, as the Nordic country takes the next step to gradually relax its coronavirus lockdown.
"We are crazy busy. I mean fully booked for the next two weeks," says Phil Olander, owner of Phil's Barber in central Copenhagen. The move, announced on Friday, has triggered a rush of appointments. Mr Olander says his booking system crashed because it was flooded with enquiries. Another hairdresser told me she's fully booked for the next three weeks and will work extended hours to meet demand. Other businesses including tattoo parlours, beauticians, dentists and opticians are now permitted to reopen. Driving lessons are also allowed. Each has new health guidelines to follow.
