Anyone have experience with Pydio

Do you like it? Use it? What do you use this server for?
I'm still playing around with it, getting everyone's thoughts.

I've used owncloud they both do pretty much the same thing. Pydio has some more flexible options and features but in the past it has been buggy.

We use ownCloud here instead. No experience with Pydio.

Sadly I've not heard of them.
I have been considering either building my own ownCloud box or just getting a ReadyNAS unit. Still uncertain.

Those two are so different. Very odd things to be deciding between.

A NAS implies large volume of file level access over local networl using SMB(CIFS)/NFS. Cloud sync implies small file access over Internet using http/https and webdav. too different things though they could be used together to provide the storage for owncloud. OwnCloud is just a means of access really.

I love OwnCloud! I just spun up my own personal server for me and the family. It is working out great so far!
