Lost power last night at 3:00 AM triggering my neighbor downstairs to have a complete meltdown related to her doing everything and her husband doing nothing. I'm actually not that mad about it because we were having trouble sleeping anyway and it was interesting hearing them interact.

@wirestyle22 There are a few phrases in English that, without any further explanation, describe a situation perfectly: "complete meltdown" is one of them.

It's moments like last night that prove Laura and I are great for each other. Neither one of us was upset or stressed at all and we actually had fun being awake at 3:00 AM joking around.

Why are we still cracking on IE? MS has admitted it sucks and moved onto Edge. I have no idea if it's better, but MS isn't pushing IE anymore - in fact, they are doing everything they can to pull away from it. Not in the start tray, not in the Start menu, etc.

Edge sucks just as badly, or worse. Besides, I love to bag on IE, because we still have to use it here. When a user asks me something browser related, I always answer "it didn't work because IE is garbage, always has been. But since you aren't allowed to use a real browser for this, let's take a look..."

Yea, at least in IE you can change settings to get things working. Edge just lets you... add sites to your favorites list. If a page doesnt load correctly in Edge, this is what you can do:

Interesting - so you only use what at home? I assume this means you have no Windows Desktop OSes in your home?

I'm forced to use IE to access our network switches.

Meh, windows works fine until a stupid user gets their hands on it. I've never experienced any of the alleged "issues" with running windows for the past 20 years, ergo I don't really give a frig about Linux.
