Yes, electric is very fast for me. Many times faster than a razor.

I've never been able to get a close shave with one, and it was always slower than a blade for me. Maybe I just had crappy electrics.

LOL - I wondered that too... but no, there are a pair of arms that you can easily miss just under the head. You don't see the riser since it's inline with the handle.

Sweet. Its a decent razor. Its comparable to the Gillette Fusion except the blades are much cheaper
