What's your favorite flavor of Multi-Tennant Hosted PBX?
-
So, at Hub Tech i'm currently reselling someone elses hosted pbx. I don't mind too terribly much, margins are okay, but I'm sure they'll be better once I bring things in house. Plus the feature set seems to be a bit behind from other offerings I've seen. BiCom, Thirdlane, and MiRta. Do any of you have a favorite flavor? or would you recommend setting up individual VMs with some sort of asterix on each for different clients?

I think you are looking at hosted VoIP. Normally Hosted PBX means single tenant. That's what separates it. The customer gets their own PBX with full control.

hrm. okay. it seems i need to do a bit more research. any pointers? I would like to be able to have my own hosted pbx that I can offer to clients.

For that everyone uses Broadvoice. The entire market uses the same platform.

So you just resell broadvoice? you dont have your own hardware?

Not us, no. We provide our own hosted PBX platform. Every customer gets a dedicated PBX of their own.

so each client gets a baby VM?
