Nope. Not familiar with it. Train is the main choice of HVAC for businesses around here which tracer/tracer summit does do some pretty cool stuff.

Thanks...I looked on Google and found Trane design and analysis software but not field service software, do you have a link?

I believe their service portion of tracer is called TechView but I believe the certified trane persons only have access to it.

@technobabble, I know a compnay that uses Rossware Service Desk. They have used it for years and love it.

              http://www.rossware.net/

I do not know anything about it as this client is one I only did work for 1 time. They never called us back for more work.

Thanks JaredBusch, I'll check them out.

I got info back from Wintac and their requirements for the web portal: Requirements:
                • Operating system:
o Windows Server 2003 or higher (recommended)
o Windows XP Pro and Media (supports up to 10 simultaneous connections)
o Windows Vista Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, and Enterprise (supports up to 10 simultaneous connections)
o Windows 7 Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate (supports up to 20 simultaneous connections)
                o Windows 8

                What are these simultaneous connections?

Ok, it also needs IIS installed.

The EULA requirements of windows desktop OS. you have to go to a server OS for higher concurrent connections.

Right...connections like file sharing, not users like RDP....that was a DOH moment.

Yeah, it is certain types. RDP is limited to one. SMB is limited to 10 or 20.
