Remote Printer reverses report
-
One of my sites uses Go to My PC remote software to connect into his multiple sites to print the sales and labor reports - when he prints from the remote sites through go to my PC to the local printer it reverses the report - (basically it prints backwards)- but when he prints locally to the same printer the report prints normally and he can printer to the local printer at the site and it prints normally.
has anyone ever seen this with this software / other remoting software and how did you fix it?

Are you printing like this?

It also seems like you can bypass their printer and print directly to local printer.

Looks like the correct process being used.

Bypassing the remote printer doesn't resolve the issue.. but maybe the wrong printer is selected? I'm not sure, I'll have to take a look.
he needs to be able to print remotely and be able to read the report.

@wrcombs - We have a couple GoToMyPC accounts. When the user prints, are they using the GoToMyPC printer or did you install the actual printer on the remote system and use the GoToMyPC Printer Port?
If you install the actual drivers of the printer and use the GoToMyPC printer port you tend to get better results. Also print jobs print a lot faster than just using the generic GoToMyPC printer.

I dont believe the printer was ever actually installed at the remote site - I think they're just using the printer port -

If you don't have the ability to install the printer directly, maybe as a work around, have them print to Microsoft PDF printer first and then print the pdf using the GoToMyPC printer.

@wrcombs - Or drag and drop the PDF file to the local computer and print it locally.
