That's my other gripe with iPhones, personally. I like a bigger phone. The iPhone feels tiny to me.
I'm a girl and girl's pants have small back pockets. I refuse to wear a holster, so the phone either has to fit in my back pocket, or get in cozy with the "girls" if I don't have pockets.
Ah. Well guys don't have that luxury...at least I hope they don't...cringes Sorry, bad mental images just popped up...
Anyways, why not in the front pockets? Those would probably be easier.

Womens pants really don't have front pockets. You are lucky if a tick tack can fit in some of them. Bra or back pockets are where it has to go!

I'm kinda interested in the iWatch, but that price seems a bit high, compared to all the others. I'd probably have to see it and play with it in person to know for sure. Plus it sucks for lefties who wear their watch on the right wrist, as the knob is on the wrong side, unless they have an "invert" function.
Most of us just get used to it.

I'm going to get the iPhone 6 soon. The extra big screen and thinner package are the big deals for me. The faster proc is a minor bonus.
-
I'm going to consider the watch too.

This looks like a good summary of the announcements...

How big do you want? The new iPhone 6+ is enormous. That's a small tablet, not a phone.

I could see me using it. So often I only look at my phone to see if something has happened. If the watch keeps me updated without needing to go to the phone itself, that could be a major win.

I don't think I would use the apple watch. personally I like to say as "technology free" as possible when out of the house/not at work. I don't like being tied to technology, I guess I'm one of the few IT folks like that.
-
I'm thinking that the watch actually would help to keep me "technology free." I can't be disconnected but it lets me less "involved."
-
The A8 is faster but what is cool is that it uses only a fraction of the power of the A7.

Is it bigger than the Note 3 or a couple other Android phones? If yes, fine. If not, still doesn't stand.

Why can't you ever be disconnected? I personally think you "need" to be more than you really need to be.

Because I work in IT. Not many jobs in IT, or in business, allow you to be disconnected. No different than not being able to be reached by phone - except less intrusive. I'm glad I have to be connected - I'd hate to have a job that didn't need me.

Note 3 is 5.7", iPhone 6+ is 5.5". Among the largest phones. Large enough that it's crossing into the "when is it an iPad" territory. Large enough that I'd call it a tablet, not a phone. If you can't use it as a phone, it's not a phone.

well, to be short, you gotta get your hands in some pockets to know about pocket size. . . . baha
Now, i'm a tech and I love iDevices. They work. plain and simple. not that android doesn't anymore....but for a while there they were pretty sketchy. I had my days of modifying roms, even jailbreaking iphones....now i prefer a nice stable, aftermarket supported device. I pick apple, and have for many years now for everything but laptops, just no need for a mactop. I'm excited about the phablet as I am a large man with large hands, and that 6 Plus is gonna fit the bill nicely.
@IRJ I believe the reason they didn't go with the scratch proof (saphire) glass was price, and supply. they do however use it on the camera lens and the thumb print sensor. Pre-ordering the 6Plus as soon as it's available at my carrier.

The Plus huh? Bold choice. For me it is going to be a 6 plain and an iPad Mini. A little larger screen for tablet duty and a little more portable for phone duty.
