Home Firewalls

So... discussion time.
What are you running at home?
I currently have two a Cisco/Linksys 3000 series running Linksys firmware, and a secondary one running DDWRT.
In the past week, the DDWRT has become super flaky to the point I turned it off and reconnected to the other. The flakiness was only over wireless.
I just sent the money to Amazon for a Unify AP like Scott recently picked up... now I'm trying to decide what I want to run for a router.
Hubtech mentioned the TP-Link TL-R470T+ load balancing router. Now it's true I don't need load balancing at home, but playing with this router could be fun.
I could run one of the many free PC based routers, but power usage/noise/heat/etc - is it really worth it?

I run the Ubiquiti EdgeMax LITE.
Prior to buying this, I had an old Dell Dimension E520 running pfSense.

Ubiquiti EdgeRouter Lite here too. Love it.

Issues with a Cisco E3000 running dd-wrt? What version of dd-wrt? That's exactly what I'm running. I haven't had any issues with wireless. It could be a hardware issue, causing the flakiness. I've never known dd-wrt to have stability issues.

If not going to run Ubiquiti, I would consider Sophos for home.

now i didn't know you were talking about for home. no need for the TP-Link, go edgemax lite

He and I were talking about things offline, his recommendation had nothing to do with this thread.

I'm using some Buffalo AP/Router with DD-WRT which works great. I have a 3 of the Linksys E2000's that I got free as well, they work ok for what I use them for but it's not for internet just for some other portable stuff, I wouldn't use them or most of their SOHO routers for an actual internet connection.
