Unsolved Need POS recommendations

So, we have a few people in the community that work and have worked with this stuff.
I have a small client with an indoor soccer facility. It has a small Bar & Grill inside to handle the parental :beer_mug: needs.
They have an absolutely shitty system from Benseron called BEVO POS https://www.bevopos.com/. The current system is Windows based and support sucks.
The have 4 stations, but normally only use 2, and a kitchen printer.
Internet there is horrible, but enough to process credit card transactions and not much else. I even had @Phil-CommQuotes beat on things and nothing came up worth the cost.
They would like a fixed location tablet based system of some type. What should I have them look for?

What's their thought process on running Tablet Based systems?
They're gonna need to fix their internet , 98% of Tablet based systems are Cloud based SaaS .
Here's a list of a few -
Brink isn't a Tablet based system, However, it is Cloud Based as the other are and very good at quick service.
HR POS is from a payment Processor, but Tablet based. 100% Cloud
i've never worked with Revel, but Heard good things about it from customers that have moved to them as a solution.
there is also Clover Systems - Which isn't terrible, Lots of bars use this system

We have several camp grounds, marinas, and small resorts that use and like: https://www.salesvu.com/
We don't know much about it, but they all use IPADS, printers, and they use it for General merchandise, concessions stands, entrance fees, rentals, etc.....
The BIG benefit of this one is that they can keep running tabs for the visitors/families/guests beyond the close of the day. So, you can open a tab, add items to it all week, then cash out when you check out. Every other option investigated required cashing the guest tab out at the end of each day. (this was a show stopper for these businesses)

We see Clover everywhere, including at the cash counter for Municipalities for tax and water bill payments.
