Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Girl Dancing
-
She keeps dancing like that she won't be a fat girl long. Damn good moves for a big girl.
-
She has a disease that makes her put on the weight. I don't think that she has much hope of losing the weight through dance. She clearly doesn't move like someone who put on the weight by being sedentary. She is in shape just can't keep the weight off.
-
More in context, kind of inspiring.

Right I understand that. But doing what she's doing is going to help manage that. There's no way you can move like that on a daily basis and not be burning some major calories and causing fat to turn to muscle. Very inspiring.

Pure math will tell you if she's eating 1500 calories a day, and burning 2500, she'll have to loose weight regardless of any condition - right?
-
In theory. But with the disease it may not be healthy for her to do that.
-
I know nothing of this disease so I'm asking? This and maybe other diseases can make the body require a substantially higher caloric intake than you burn? so you're damned if you do, damned if you don't?
-
That would be my guess. But I sure don't know.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome affects hormone levels, can cause weight gain, thyroid issues, blood sugar issues, cholesterol issues. Just to name a few. Most people live with some very serious health issues due to it.

as a guy who has issues with hormone levels (and I'm only 23) I can say it affect just about everything. Engery levels, dizziness, brain fog, attitude, blood sugar, weight gain, blood pressure, heart rate and palpitations. Luckily for guys it's not to bad with replacement therapy but it's dang expensive about $1,700 for a 3 month supply. They do think a lot of this stuff is caused by all the food being genetically modified though, which makes you think.
