VMware View 6 SSL Certificates
-
I recently setup a VMware view connection server, a security server, and a composer server. While installing it I used self signed certificates and I am now ready to replace the self signed certs with my wildcard certificate. I did a bunch of research and I came up with a bunch of different ways to do it. I was wondering if anyone here would have any links they used or advice on the correct way to do this.v

I use self signed for everything. I refuse to pay people for any unnecessary certs
-
Scott, do you setup your own CA in these cases so that your internal machines trust the certs you create?
-
Most of the time not even that.
-
I ended up using the instructions here The only issue that I ran into is it took a couple restarts to get it working after completing the instructions on the view connection and view security servers.

Thanks for the link. So it is all working now?

@StrongBad said: Thanks for the link. So it is all working now? For the most part I have everything working. I am able to access the html access from inside and outside, and can access the view client from outside, but not the inside. If I change my pcoip setting to the ip of the view security server I am able to access the client from the inside but not the outside.

I had my PCOIP setting incorrect, after putting in the correct settings everything is working great.
