      If you open the properties of the system drive>Get Info>Click Unlock and use the Username Root with no password the system will let you in to edit the properties and security of the drive.

        @kyle this bug is an extension from an already announced bug that allows a user to login as root, without a password.

          Easy way to prevent it is to open Terminal and then...

          #switches you to the root account.
          sudo -i

          #lets you set a root password.
          passwd

            I'm aware. I just read the article this morning and I hadn't finishing setting up this new MBP I got to replace my Mid 2012 MBP 13.
