Apparently wayland is for GUI and xorg is command-line...
I can understand why they feel that way. Wayland has no network transparency so itβs going to be a full Remote Desktop session of some type (VNC, SPICE, etc.).
I think they possibly just worded it strange.

My machine is older and it is slick there, too. Although does bog down from time to time.

Is running fine on a Toshiba satellite and i3 with 4GB of RAM and SSD.
