Desktop wifi adaptor?

Currently using Netgear Powerline, but it doesn't seem real reliable as connectivity seems to come and go at random times. I have an Amplifi HD mesh router in the house. Is there a recommended wifi adaptor that will give me good reliability and throughput?

Most will work. These are pretty solid tech now.

This is the standard for WiFi USB Adapter in my organization: http://www.tp-link.com/us/download/TL-WN722N.html If you have WiFi N network, grab it, anything else you need more advanced one.

Thanks for the feedback. Wasn't sure if I would get better results from a PCI card vs USB dongle.

@danp said in Desktop wifi adaptor?: Thanks for the feedback. Wasn't sure if I would get better results from a PCI card vs USB dongle. I have used USB dongles in the past with a wide variance of 'luck'... They serve their need, but I have seen data channel performance issues.
