This week on SMB IT Journal - "Hiring IT Better: Speed Matters" takes a look at the importance of an efficient and rapid hiring process from initial contact to interview to offer. Good talent in IT is hard to find and even harder to acquire and you only get one chance to make a first impression. If you want to hire a top resource, chances are everyone else wants to hire them too and they don't have the time or any reason to be waiting around for a company that can't make decisions. Few things, if anything, is as important as the talent that you hire and if you can't make a good decision about hiring, what does this say about other processes that we aren't using to market ourselves to potential candidates?
