Solved Cisco Aironet 1830 Issue with HTTPS Interface
-
Hi,
We have this Cisco Aironet 1830 Wireless Controller and it is PoE and it controllers other WiFi children.
Since we got them they ran fine and I was able to access the web interface from it is IP.
Now for whatever reason I no longer can access the Web HTTPS interface, however I can ping it and SSH to the device successfully using the same IP
When I go home will work on this after working hours, will try to reboot it from SSH, but any idea why I no longer see the web interface, and is there anything i can type at the SSH interface that can toggle it back on ?
Sorry I familiar with generic Wireless AP like TP-Link And ASUS, but not Cisco

Powered off everything including UPS attached and then re-powered everything back on and its back working and I can connect to HTTPS again ...
So much for Cisco Over Engineering products

Changed title to be about the question.

What kind of error are you getting when you view the web interface?
Just a page cannot be displayed, or an HTTPS Certificate error of some type?

I did enable on the SSH and then did reload and that asked me to confirm, its like reboot but still no luck. Tomorrow will see, we do have support contract ...
Time to go kill some people with chainsaw (in a game DBD)... today was rough day alot of things not working.

Did you double check the startup config and see if it has the HTTP/HTTPS enabled?
-
You mean this :
show startup-config
and compare it with :
show running-config
Interesting on it, thanks for the clue

Kind of. You got the right idea though. Just check and see if there's anything about web services or the like and see if they're on or off.
IIRC on Cisco gear, you can hit ? and it will show you commands available to you.
