What Are You Watching Now

Finished up Season 4 of Man In High Castle. I found Season 4 better than the first three. A couple nice twists and ending was pretty... OK.

The Mandalorian episode 3.
Not a lot of overall story progression, but a very interesting episode for Mandalorian lore, as well as the bounty hunter guild.

Does the series draw a lot from KOTOR?

I never played KOTOR, was there much Mandalorian lore in it?
The Mandalorian is set 5 years after Return of the Jedi.
In three episodes, they are really seeming to keep the focus on the Mandalorian. I like it so far.

It's fine so far... thought ep2 was mostly just filler, only thing we learned was - blah blah....
watching the show in 30 min or so increments is definitely frustrating.

It’s how they keep you from paying for just one month and dumping them

A bit, yeah. The Mandalorians were an integral part of the story line. I can't remember them popping up to any degree anywhere else (I'm sure in some of the books, but I've not seen them.) KOTOR had Mandalorians as main characters.
You should really play KOTOR. It's amazing. Far and away the best part of the Star Wars universe for me.

KOTOR itself is set long before the events of any of the movies. It's part of the OLD Republic timeline, so long before Episode 1. Which I like, the Old Republic is a fun time frame.

During the Old Republic timeline the Mandalorians were enemies of the Jedi were they not?
Then sort of friends during the Clone Wars?
Finally both groups fucked under the Empire?

Oh boy, testing me memory here. I feel like they weren't concerned with each other.

In KOTOR (can't speak to the comics) there were some Mandalorian freelancers that you had to fight, but no direct conflict between the Jedi and the planet/government of Mandalore.
