      So, I was doing a round of updates this morning. Nothing scary out or something like that, just normal updates. When yum starts complaining about being slow and not sending data... keep in mind that I have ipv6 set to ignore currently.

      Well, if you'd stop being derpy and use the ip protocol the network is setup for, that might help JUST A LITTLE.

        I find a good yum clean all tends to fix these types of errors.

          Yep. I mostly just wanted to point out that even the OS myself and @scottalanmiller are always recommending can do dumb things from time to time as well.
