CentOS can be stupid as well.

So, I was doing a round of updates this morning. Nothing scary out or something like that, just normal updates. When yum starts complaining about being slow and not sending data... keep in mind that I have ipv6 set to ignore currently.
http://mirror.vtti.vt.edu/centos/7.3.1611/os/x86_64/repodata/308b19b243c882f0278206ea4ffc 4e120df78c0218867917916fd437e4d0ea49-filelists.sqlite.bz2: [Errno 14] curl#7 - "Failed to connect to 2001:468:c80:2133:0:b0e2:0:9874: Network is unreachable"
Well, if you'd stop being derpy and use the ip protocol the network is setup for, that might help JUST A LITTLE.

I find a good yum clean all tends to fix these types of errors.

Yep. I mostly just wanted to point out that even the OS myself and @scottalanmiller are always recommending can do dumb things from time to time as well.
