Micro SD cards 16 vs 32
-
Looking at picking up a few micro SD cards for rPi projects. It really seems 'wasteful' to use a 32GB card when an 16GB card would do just fine.
However, there is so little price difference does it really make much difference?

I generally follow the rule, if it's not that much more expensive, go for the larger models. Then, you will be able to make it more useful if you have other projects that require more space.

Get the larger one. Think about wear leveling in hardware (which often does not work or simply does not exist except in high-end products) or in software using specialized filesystems like YAFFS and others.
Try to keep your partitions small if you plan to create images.
