Prepping for foot surgery tomorrow. Going to be off work for 2 weeks.
Wish I didn't have to have surgery to have that much time off work.

I hear ya'! I didn't get a "weekend" last week cause I was out of town with my family at an amusement park which was an utter scam really.

Ouch - I pretty much don't get weekends with all the yuts and yard work.

Likely how many of them are. $10 hotdog that is tasteless, and the $4 drink that is more ice then soda...

how do I begin? We got the weekend pass and were given a Paper receipt and told to take a picture of it, incase it "got wet or damaged" to gain access to the park for the weekend. if it was damaged or wet and wouldn't scan at the gate, you would have had to buy Day tickets, because tickets were non transferable or refundable. The first day we were told we couldn't buy a "souvenir cup" from the refill station, we had to go to an eatery - but they literally had cups and a POS in front of them that would sell it (horrible customer service).
The park had fast pass available for an addition 30 per person - but 80% of the rides didn't have it available "due to covid" So wasn't worth it to get that. So you spent most of your time in line (which is to be expected when you don't have fast pass)
They opened the gates at 10:30 am, Park opened at 11, but 80% of the rides were "Still in testing" at 11:45am so you couldn't get on any of them. There were some rides that were "still in testing" that we saw them testing from our cottage at 8am (cause we stayed at "the village.")
none of the eatery's or "refill stations" were open to closer to 12:30 - 1:00. if you wanted something to drink you had to hit a vending machine - oh and they were cashless expect for the Lockers which took change (normal, right?) unless you had a season pass. then you could use a credit card to get a locker.

we paid 15.00 a cup for a 14oz refillable "souvenir cup" with free refills the day we bought it, but had to pay 1.00 for each refill after that.. To get back into the park, they took our picture and gave us yet another receipt to get back in for the day.
Most of the kids rides weren't running expect for once an hour . so you waited in line for them to run it one time, then close it down for an hour and then run it again.
the whole trip was super fun expect for the constant dread of waiting in line to be told "this ride wont be ready for another 30 minutes to an hour, please continue to wait"
