I would love to sell my house, but i need to stay in this market, and if I was going to sell would want something with enough space for a true home office.
We settled on the house we have now due to finances and timing (limited time to buy or renew prior lease, etc.).

Our Zestimate was $305K until we posted the sale earlier today. Now you can't see one
But the Zestimate is said to be trailing the market by a couple weeks. Our neighbour three doors down turned down $325K a few weeks ago, he wasn't even on the market. Same house.

Oh of course - but the sudden surge in pricing is likely because of two main factors - 1) lumber prices are astronomical! They likely will fall significantly in a year or so and 2) people are/where moving a lot because of Covid and businesses were starting to realize their people could work from anywhere. This too will massively slow down as the pandemic ends - both in the number that will be allowed to work from anywhere and those who want to move because they can.... both those numbers will shrink a lot as time goes on, mainly because those who could move will have moved...
