Worked until 4am last night. Several projects going on. One is a new community, not surprisingly just like this one, for the veterinary industry.
how many products are they talking about there?
Hundreds of thousands I would assume, if you include everything from squeaky toys to food to medicines to lab gear.
So just a general Vet discussion board. That's cool.
Yes, several doctors approached us this past month to discuss how nothing like that currently exists.
Well - sometimes finding that stuff is challenging... now in this case it might not have been - perhaps you just googled veterinary forum and found something..
Yeah, but we are talking to vets all over the country
-
Remember the CCW / NTG machine is the largest veterinary IT support vendor out there. So our cross section of the industry is pretty broad.

Just got my first bad review in my year and a half of employment.
So there's that.apparently I broke stuff and no one told me; so I couldn't fix it.
I've been their only point of contact since they open and refused to talk to somebody else; and some small shit about "not being knowledgeable"
I've told them I'm not their contact and they need to use the help desk because I'm not always available .Who did the review? I bet it was your direct supervisor, wasn't it?
no review has been done; just a negative customer review from previous work done with this site as I was buried in projects, calls, and other emergency issues.
So not a review of you, at all. A review of your business done incorrectly.
maybe, maybe not. I don't think we have enough details. If the client goes outside the prescribed process of opening tickets with the helpdesk, that's not the MSPs fault - that's the clients. But again, I don't think we have enough information to know.

Basically he sent a complaint to my boss about my ability to be of service to them .
And my boss is going to talk to them tomorrow. -

Ah. Ah well. You have a valid excuse. Take it on the nose and continue working slave ^W^W job hunting.
yeah, and i've told this customer I am not your only contact.
Will not be your only contact, it's not happening like that. But I'm the bad guy cause "he has to fix the stuff I do"
Which, they didn't call me.No call... no ticket... no problem!
That's my door in the office

If they complain about a person, for workings of a business, that alone is a mistake.

oh - I didn't take this to mean YOU were standing up a new forum for this purpose.
OK - other things make more sense now...
Do you anticipate getting advertisers for that forum as well to help pay for it? -

We have several vet companies of our own, so no need for outside sponsors. That said, it's the kind of industry where sponsors are pretty easy to get.

I know there are those who hate Outlook. This comment isn't for you.

Troubleshooting a Few terminals not sending items to the Kitchen, at all... Having NO clue what the problem is. Tried every known fix I've found and still nothing is working.

Not sending to kitchen - what does that mean? it's not printing? it's not showing up on a terminal screen in the kitchen? etc?

Yeah, so it'll print so they still get the tickets, but not coming up on the screen.

I add people and resources to a meeting invite, hit Autopick and it skims through all the calendars to the next time everyone is available.

Oh, that's way better than what I assumed, which was autopicking a meeting location.
