Waiting for the next topic lockIT people get heated but, at least it's not as bad as pro audio forums. Those are the worst. everyone has there own opinion about how something should be connected. The funny thing is the ones who usually get made about it are obviously wrong about impedance and such. And it's obvious they have done any pro audio work outside of weekend trunk haulers as they call them.

@thecreativeone91 My cousin made by hand ultra shielded speaker wire from cat5 in college. Compared it to lamp cord. Zero difference detectable even by a high end digital oscilloscope. He later braided it all into a sweet belt so nothing of value was lost

A Konica Minolta sales rep just followed me on SW and I feel dirty by association

Could be worse, could be Ricoh.
At least Minolta made decent cameras in the 1980s.

Having bread and cheese on the terrace. Soon taking the girls for a walk up the hill a bit to watch the sunset.

Just finished starting the fire in our sap boiler... should get a couple of gallons later tonight or early tomorrow.

Just took the girls for a walk up the hill to watch the sunset from a farm up there.

rather jealous... of course I am not sure I could have made it UP the hill to watch.. Of course part of this is lunch, part of it is watching the UK/WVa NCAA game last night, and just Friday-itis.
One of the office suites is getting fresh carpet next week, so it's break down / setup while they do that. Counting down the days at the moment. Five working days, 2 or three of which will be on my 'last project' with the carpet. Trying to get some documentation done also as part of the knowledge transfer.
Waiting on my Amazon order so I can build the PFsense firewall and have some fun with it. Research on a new keyboard/mouse.

Órgiva just had fireworks down in the valley. We were up on the terrace and heard something. So we looked (it is dark here) and we could just make out tiny little fireworks going off many miles away. We are thousands of feet up above the village so it was interesting to watch from above.

Just setup my new router.

Family is getting ready to go out to dinner in town. "In town" meaning no more than one minute walk away.
