@scottalanmiller Yeah, this is on the answer button to the right. I am not going to lie it has been slow with me averaging 35 post a day and I can catch up with most topic after work relatively fast.

Been slower and slower for a while. Not a ton, just seems like "trickling out".

Helping @QuixoticJeremy get some stuff out live. I'm sure he'll be talking about it shortly.

@scottalanmiller Nothing going on? Are you sure?
Take a look at this post
https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2012669-two-way-sync-synology-backups-multiple-confusing-optionsI've never seen stats like that, weird. There is SO much on that site that I can't find and don't know about. Using the site every day for nearly a decade, I've never seen half the screens that people often go to. Weird that they make it all so hard to find.
I get an email for every topic on there, and it's been SLOW.
No Scott, you do not use the site every day. You have stated many times that you almost only navigate by email notifications. That does take you to a topic but it does little for actually using the site navigation. Shit is not hidden jsut because you never click on it.

It's not obvious in a busy workflow. I'm definitely on the site every day. Many times a day. Over 20 times just today. But using their notification system as designed, going through a thread, wrapping up a topic, none of it points you on to other things.

Ah, that random word "answer" out where your eye is unlikely to go. Just the word "Answer" doesn't make it clear why it is there or when you'd want to click on that.
-
@scottalanmiller It is hard to do when you are not on the site and trying to find threads. Their email system works on a way that you only get notifications for the first post after you visited it and subscribed to it. If you subscribe to all the Spiceworks Support category alone you will get a lot of topics but there are many groups and so you might be missing some. The SocialHub is another tool that has been hidden but works better for powerusers.

The first batch of (my first) Ubiquiti gear arrived today: three EdgeSwitches ES-48-500W. I couldn't wait to get my dirty fingers on them and fired one up just for "science purposes". You know
Solid case, super-intuitive UI, and... I just like 'em. You get a lot of bang for the buck. Half an hour later I've replaced one of my old Cisco's. Will replace two more tomorrow and even plan to order more of them.
Next step: UNMS.
PS: I'm still busy with a lot of things. But we're doing fine for the most part. Kind of.

super-intuitive UI,
That is obviously after a firmware update. Because the original UI most certainly was not.

I need to get off my ass and set this up.

Yes, 1.7.something. Setting up VLAN trunks and access ports, for example, was a joke compared to other switches.
